Joe and I had a great trip to Florida!  I can’t wait to get my camera back from my in-laws and upload the videos.  In our speedy get-a-way I inadvertently left my flip at their house in Naples.  So you will all have to wait for the gayest of videos!  A couple are very funny!!!!!

We started off our little trip down south in Orlando.  We did so much in three days you would not believe! We did the Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, and Epcot all in one day.  The only thing we did not go on or do was “Soaring” at Epcot.  The line was too long and the fast pass time was to late.  I think I could have done the Hollywood Studios in the same day as well if we would have been committed to staying at Epcot until past 8.  Anyway, Orlando was surprisingly fun.  We had a great time there.  We also did the Universal parks which had some pretty amazing rides.

Our week ended with us on the Gulf Coast in sunny Naples, Florida.  It was really nice to see Joe’s parents:

Our first day in Naples we hung out by the pool at his parents village.  Yes, we stayed with them in a retirement community.  It was fantastic.  All though, it was a little unnerving to be around that many old people at one time!!!!!!!!!!!!

The rest of our trip was spent eating, and laying in the sun.  We both got our tans on and enjoyed lying on the beach and playing the ocean.  Then yesterday we left at the ass-crack of dawn to head home to our dog-ter, Olivia!  She was home with our friend Kimmy.  God bless her for agreeing to watch Olivia.  I must have been so annoying.  Calling her, emailing, and texting to check in on them.    I constantly worry!

We made it to JFK yesterday early!  Which was fantastic.  As our flight was delayed by 20 minutes, I thought OK, this is not bad.  We boarded the plane, rolled out, and waited, waited some more, and waited even longer.  Finally, the pilot says we have to go back because there is something wrong with the electrical.  It’s an easy fix.  They shut down all the power to the plane for 5-minutes with us in it.  It comes back up, we taxi out, and we wait again.  Just as we are about to take our turn to fly out, this annoying women and her annoying child got up to use the bathroom.  If you don’t know, once the pilot has given the orders for the flight crew to buckle up for take-off the pilot will abort the take-off if someone is out of their seats.  Well after hours of waiting that’s what happened.  After that we finally were able to take off.  Not before our bitchy mo of a flight attendant, grabbed the overhead and said:  I don’t know how to tell you this so that you will understand but if you get up as we are in line for take off, we will lose our slot, and that is what just happened .  Stay seated.

Then almost to Sore-excuse we hit some massive turbulence.  I probably have 100’s of hours logged as a former business traveler and I have never ever ever thought it was going to be over.  This time I did.  The Mo flight attendant fell to the floor and put himself in the fetal position.  Big fun.  Well we survived!
