Joe and I are headed to Manhattan on business next week and every evening is spoken for. I’m so excited…It’s like a homos dream come true…Three nights of Musicals….

First Up–Gypsy with Patti Lupone!!! She is like a total living legend…The first Evita, the first Fantine in Les Miz, she just starred in Sweeney Todd on Broadway but the rest of you know her as Kelly Martins mom on Life Goes On; the tv show with Corky! You know the one….

Then I’m off to see one of the newest musicals to hit Broadway; Cry Baby. A musical version of the John Waters masterpiece. I love John Waters. Have you ever seen Pecker???? If not, rent it, watch it, and make sure to have a pair of depends on. It will make you piss in your panties! Seriously, tea-bagging, sugar, and Mother Mary! Fabulous. So after Hairspray was such a huge hit on the Great White Way the producer, who is a 28 y/o mo, decided to bring Cry Baby to the stage. I’m so excited…I love this movie. Have you seen it????

Then we are off to see the remarkable, multiple Tony Award Winning musical, Spring Awakening. Written by Dunkan Sheik. You know that pop star that had a few hits. I love the music. Seriously when else are you going to hear a song called “We’re Fucked!” or “The Bitch of Living!”
