This is not a blog about the beach. It’s a blog about Virginia Woolf’s short novel — “The Waves.”
I recently downloaded it to my nook from a story about great Summer Reads from the Huffington Post. The books are a little heavier than the Fanny Flagg books, but I just don’t understand it yet. 10 pages in and I’m confused. What the HELL is this book about?
I will say “Role Models” by John Waters and a new book “Once Upon A River” were both excellent! But please – what is this book about? I always thought I was so well read…Alas, Virginia Woolf may be beyond my non-PhD holding self…
